Being the only 100% Mourvedre in Alexander Valley makes this wine a rare find. Grown on our hilltop estate 2,000 feet above the Alexander Valley, this wine offers aromas of mortared herbs and black pepper with a lip smacking dark fruit flavor. Despite its richness, it maintains a fine sense of balance and is the perfect wine to pair with food. Only 75 cases produced.

We have been making Viognier for more than a decade. Bill loves the body and flavors of this white wine varietal – and prefers to make it in a European style. Our Viognier is crisp, dry and full bodied with a lingering finish of ripe fruit. To retain the purest expression of the grapes, the wine was fermented in stainless steel with no oak contact. The color is pale straw with hints of green. Delicate floral and citrus scents are followed by guava, jasmine and white pear notes with a hint of ginger. Rich flavors of white peach and apricot are present immediately, while tropical fruits are more apparent on the palate as the wine opens. The round smooth body of the wine is accented by crisp acidity and a clean finish.

The vineyard is West of Sonoma at the border of the Carneros appellation where the cool climatic conditions of San Pablo Bay influence growth and ripening. The color is ruby red with garnet highlights.  Raspberry, cherry and mushroomy earth notes fill the glass along with violet, vanilla and geranium floral scents.  Flavors of cranberries, raspberries, red currants and plums are complemented by a hint of allspice.  The wine is soft, balanced and alluring with bright acidity and rich velvety mouthfeel.

This Mourvedre has aromas of sense and lush blueberries, cloves, mixed berry, tea and cedar on the nose with also a lush blueberry and blackberry on the palate finishing with firm tannins and structure, This is your glass of wine to relax after a hard day and have all the way thru dinner.  This wine was aged 20 months in new French and Hungarian oak.  If you like it drink now, or hold for 10 years.

This Petite Sirah has dense blackberry and blueberries, black and red plumes and cream aroms. Then sweet spice, grape candy and dried herbs join mid palate. Peppery and juicy with great acidity and thick tannins on a young tight finish. Made in the old world style. This is your red meat wine from rib-eye to short-ribs or anything in-between and excellent with stewed meats or rich vegetarian dishes. This wine was aged for 24 months in 50% new French and 50% new Hungarian. If you like it drink now, or hold for 10 years.

Arbios Cellars produces only one wine - made from 100 percent Cabernet Sauvignon grapes sustainably grown on our mountain top vineyard in the Alexander Valley of Sonoma County. Arbios Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from estate fruit in classic Bordeaux style to have moderate alcohol and good fruit character. Although Bill has a successful track record crafting blended wines, he enjoys the challenges and artistry that go into making our wine from a single vineyard.

The wine’s color is deep garnet with purple hues – classic Cabernet color. Cherry, pomegranate, plum and berry aromas are followed by scents of cassis and cigar box. Dried red cherries, wild blackberry and plum flavors are complemented by hints of dark chocolate and vanilla on the finish. The wine is soft, full and rich; well balanced with good acidity and soft mouth filling tannins.

This is our second vintage of Gewürztraminer. The wine is 100% Gewürztraminer from a single vineyard in the Russian River Valley. Bill loves to experiment in the Praxis line with different varietals. Our Gewürztraminer is made in a crisp, dry style.

To retain the purest expression of the grapes, the wine was fermented in stainless steel with no oak contact. The color is very pale straw with hints of green. Aromas of flowers and lychee are immediately present while hints of spice follow more delicately. The wine is soft and elegant with nice weight. The floral and fruits are repeated on the palate. Although the wine is very dry, there is a note of honey on the finish.
